About Us

At Beautiful Space, we are advancing next-generation sustainable healthcare with psychedelic therapy. Here, mental health, mind-body medicine, precision bio-optimization, and relational longevity converge to define how humans heal, connect, and thrive.

Our Story

Policy

In 2013, we initiated a move to rebrand complementary medicine into sustainable healthcare, speaking from the clinician’s perspective at Public Health England and the International Congress of Complementary Medical Research. In 2014, our founder was a delegate at the Sustainable Development Unit, Leadership Program for Sustainable Development in the Health and Care Sector and awarded alumni status to the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Clinical

With 20 years of clinical experience in evidence-based plant medicine, we understand the symbiosis between humans and nature, plants and wellbeing. Having treated complex diseases and long-term conditions with plant medicine, homoeopathy, and flower essences, we have embraced the recent scientific research on psychedelics and developed an accessible mental health service on conscious living, accelerated therapy, and systemic relationship wellbeing. Our psychedelic-assisted programs for couples and individuals have transformed countless lives.

Conscious leadership

In 2014 the NHS made a call to action for low carbon ideas for their Long Term Plan published in 2019. Our team including Dr Peter Fisher, homoeopath to HRH The Queen, Dr George Lewith, Delny, Britton PhD and Sarah Tilley, together measured the triple bottom line of complementary medicine against conventional medicine in long-term disease. The outcome of the comparison showed that pharmaceuticals were the biggest emitters of carbon in our healthcare system.

Strategy

Living harmoniously in a community with good-quality relationships reduces our carbon output. It reduces stress, minimises family breakdown and creates fewer mental health problems in children and adults. Loneliness is the most prolific cause of disease in our modern society, and the increasing mental health crisis is desperate for a new cure. We have embraced plant medicine, mindfulness and psychedelic therapy for couples and individuals as the new low-carbon route to sustainable healthcare and In 2020 we created a road map for low-carbon healthcare

Research

2023 research collaboration with Imperial College London on the first study in the world measuring the impact of psilocybin on couples and their relationship wellbeing with psychological support. Tackling the underlying causes of trauma and subconscious patterns through mind-body medicine, we are actively working on advancing the science of altered states and psychedelics while honouring ancestral lineage and cultural heritage. Utilising trauma-informed approaches for emotional release and somatic healing, our novel approach to precision healthcare combines principles of consent, longevity-focused lifestyle medicine, and mindfulness practices.

“A healthy social life is found only when, in the mirror of each soul, the whole community finds its reflection…”

Sarah Tilley

Therapist, Founder & CEO

Sarah Tilley is a pioneer in psychedelic assisted couples therapy and an integrative clinician working with couples and individuals at critical turning points in their relationships, where separation, repair, or reinvention are all possible.

She has over 40 years personal experience in self development and brings 20 years of clinical practice in psychedelic medicine, alternative medicine, and integrative health to the emerging field of psychedelic assisted therapy and relational science. After studying for 7 years in Esther Perel’s online therapeutic program Sessions she went on to train with Betty Martin and The Wheel of Consent. Broader studies include Perels faculty including Richard Schwartz, Gabor Mate, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Emily Nagoski, Michaela Boehm and Terry Real.

Sarah specialises in the art of listening and energetics, having been trained as a classical violinist since the age of 9. Her interests and ongoing development include epigenetic’s, philosophy of mind and consciousness.

An experienced psychonaut with psilocybin as a preferred molecule and plant medicine she was part of the Imperial College London clinical research study on DMT and connectedness and is in the early training stages of working with 5MeO DMT at Tandava Retreats Mexico.

Journeying into other realms and worlds beyond the material came to her in childhood through dreams and then with foundations of philosophy and meditation from Buddhism and Taoism. Formal studies in violin performance and an international career brought decades of discipline and focus until she discovered the multi dimensional world of shamanism and the art and practise of vision questing.

Schooled early in observational practice and competency frameworks through the study and practice of non entheogenic plant medicines at The Lakeland College of Homeopathy, including Colin Griffiths, Ian Watson and Ian White, treating complex conditions, particularly with ayahuasca in homeopathic potency before coming to psychoactive medicines brings a rich knowledge of the whole person and holistic healing of mind body and spirit.

A mother, and adventurer, an avid health nut and committed to the pursuit of longevity, she’s very happy that western medicine is finally catching up with what the east has known for thousands of years.

International speaker widely featured in mainstream press and a public figure on psychedelic therapy, shes also the creator of the Beautiful Space Method of psychedelic-assisted relational therapy and Psychedelic Mindfulness,

Sarahs story of mixed heritage, adoption, early attachment wounds and childhood trauma, marriage, divorce and self sovereignty is the inspiration for Beautiful Space, taking relationship therapy beyond talking therapy and back into the body, addressing generational trauma, loss of desire in long term relationships, female empowerment and male vulnerability.

She is currently in research collaboration with Imperial College London, lead therapist and guiding couples working to the highest standards of ethics in an emerging field.

We are a global team of researchers, therapists, coaches, writers, scientists and volunteers who thrive in the world of Beautiful Space.

Psychedelic couples therapy vs the cost of divorce

Depression, anxiety disorders, trauma symptoms, substance misuse, and stress-related morbidity frequently unfold within the context of relational instability, attachment disruption, or chronic interpersonal stress. While services intervene once symptoms emerge, comparatively little infrastructure exists to investigate relational regulation as a primary determinant of psychiatric burden.
