The first observational field study in the world on psilocybin, couples and relationship wellbeing with psychological support
The importance of research in the emerging field of psychedelic assisted therapy means our ethics, harm reduction and risk assessment is of the highest standards
The collaboration between Beautiful Space and researchers from the Centre for Psychedelic Research, Imperial College London, aims to provide an initial understanding of the potential of psilocybin combined with psychological support for improving relationship wellbeing through observational research.
Our final couples have been recruited and enrolment is now closed
If you plan to enroll in our couples program, you may be eligible to participate in this study. To assess your suitability, please complete our relationship wellbeing form.
Imperial College Centre for Psychedelic Research is not sponsoring or responsible for the Beautiful Space program, but will be collecting data on couples who plan to enroll and complete it.
Gathering real world data in the emerging field of psychedelic science
A naturalistic study is a type of research that observes outcomes in real-world settings rather than under tightly controlled laboratory conditions. Participants receive care or take part in programmes as they normally would, while researchers collect data on psychological, behavioural, and relational changes over time. This type of research is particularly valuable in psychotherapy and psychedelic research because it reflects how treatments work in real clinical practice, not just in experimental environments.
DISCLAIMER-
The Centre for Psychedelic Research does not endorse consumption of psychedelics in any way, as researchers aim at capturing a behaviour that will take place independently from the observational study. It is important to understand that you should not plan to take a psychedelic nor enrol in Beautiful Space Programs as a result of interest in research. Moreover, please be informed that Beautiful Space Wellness operates independently and is not supported by, sponsored by, or associated with Imperial College London. Participants must recognize that Imperial College holds no responsibility or affiliation with the programs and initiatives of Beautiful Space Wellness. The research's objective is purely data collection on behaviors that would happen regardless of your research involvement.
